History

Spedimar was founded in 1993 by the current director Martino Pezzotti with the aim to provide fast and personalized customs clearance services. Over the years the tenacity, the dedication and the reliability that the Spedimar team dedicates daily to the orders of the customers have made possible a constant growth. Nowadays, Spedimar has its own transport and storage network and offers a wide range of shipping, transport, customs clearance and logistics services.

After 30 years of intense history, Spedimar with dedication and passion continues offering its international shipping and transport services in Switzerland and worldwide. Our mission is to offer people the opportunity to move their goods wherever they want in a simple, safe and immediate way. We carry out all activities with professional integrity and honesty in order to keep loyal, correct and transparent relationships with our customers, partners and suppliers.

Vision

Our vision is to leave a mark on our territory, by always actively participating in the creation of the added value in the tertiary sector. Our values combined with the attention to anticipating the needs dictated by the continuous evolution of the markets and the constant dialogue with the clientele will allow us to mark new paths.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability

Since 1993, alongside our shipping, transport, customs clearance and logistics services in Chiasso, Spedimar has maintained a concrete commitment to people, the local community and the protection of the environment. Corporate Social Responsibility is part of the way we work every day: a familiar and comfortable working environment, healthy working conditions, regular breaks, flexible hours and understanding for the different needs of our employees, together with a fair pay system that guarantees equal wages for both genders. We have been AEO certified since 2023 and ISO 9001 certified since 2025, and our fleet fully complies with the EURO 6 standard. In our first Sustainability Report we transparently present the results achieved in the social, environmental and economic areas and the goals we have set for the years ahead.

AEO - Authorised Economic Operator — Spedimar Chiasso

The Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification is granted to companies that, following a rigorous audit by customs (Federal Office of Customs and Border Security BAZG), demonstrate reliability in terms of safety in the international supply chain. AEOs benefit from facilitations in customs controls and priority in shipments selected for inspection. Spedimar SaGL is proud to hold this certification, which attests our compliance with customs requirements, security standards and sound financial solvency.

Quality ISO 9001

Quality is sometimes a subjective concept, difficult to define and operationalise. However, when it comes to quality, Spedimar Sagl does not compromise. Quality is the goal and path of our journey. With this quality-oriented approach, Spedimar Sagl is pleased to formalise that, since 2025, it has begun to implement and maintain a Quality Management System compliant with the ISO 9001 standard.
